Want to know where candidates stand on key issues that affect you, your family & Ohio?

You need OhioElectionCentral.com!

THANK YOU FOR VOTING IN THE 2009 GENERAL ELECTION

You can read the actual questionnaires sent to the non-judicial and judicial  candidates by clicking on the appropriate link. (Adobe Reader required.)

Americans are blessed to have a “government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” But our form of government has one key requirement: our participation.

The most basic participation is voting, yet it can also have the most profound impact. When you vote, you help determine who will lead our nation, make our laws and protect our liberties.

More than a right, voting is a privilege that millions of people in other parts of the world can only dream about. Still, many Americans choose not to vote. Our hope is that OhioElectionCentral.com will encourage you to participate.

As we see it, the goal of OhioElectionCentral.com is three-fold:

  1. Inform you what races will be on your ballot, and who the candidates in those races are who filled out an OEC questionnaire.
    • Provide candidates the opportunity to inform you where they stand on important values questions.
    • Provide you the information necessary to contact candidates directly.

If you are interested in researching local issues that will appear on your ballot, please click on "Issues" on the menu bar or on "Find Your Officials" button at the top left and scroll down to your county board of elections for that information.

The Secretary of State has voter information available on the web here. Voting locations are open from 6:30am till 7:30pm, which can be researched here. Ohio voters are now required to show identification such as a driver's license or a recent utility bill. A list of acceptable forms are available here.

      Help us spread the word!

Voters, organizations, and churches throughout Ohio are asked to tell their members, friends, families about this important information available at OhioElectionCentral.com.

You can click here to send an e-mail to friends in your address book right now!
